Running

Second day of an exercise routine for beginning runners. It’s twelve weeks, with Monday as an off day, which is why I didn’t post yesterday. Took me about 25 minutes to run 1.5 miles. Tomorrow is 3 miles.

I’m supposed to make it to 6 miles and a rough 10-minute per mile pace by the end of the twelve weeks.

One day at a time, right? One day, one pound. Starting weight … call it 295.

    Great mindset. Keep this up, and you’ll amaze yourself with just how far you can go! I took several weeks to run a 5K last year taking it -like you said- one step at a time. It was inspiring to experience doing the whole thing! Best of luck to you!

    We’ve got a few runners in the office, and some who started while there. And we’ve got a 5k-10k coming up in April. That’s one of my goals for finishing out the year and starting the next.
